Created in 1992, the Internet Society is working for an open, globally-connected, secure, and trustworthy Internet for everyone, with a network of chapter in more than 100 countries.
The Internet Society supports the work of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) to create open standards for the Internet. French chapter has been created in 1996. Nicolas Chagny is the chairman of Internet Society France since 2015.
